Blogpost 18: Social Media Page Final

I had used photoshop to change the number of followers and posts.

There is a sense of synergy between my social page. For example, the colour scheme of monochrome and muted colours, (often black and white) is present in the digipak, single cover, and music video. I want to created a representation of "high school student" that under pressure of "GaoKao".

The number of posts "24" and the number of follow "8" were all uniform number of Kobe Bryant, one of person that has big influence on me. (RIP Kobe)

I choose Instagram as my platform of the social page based on several reasons. The first reason was that for Instagram is the most convenient platform to post my photos.

I had posted some screen-grabs of my MV and posted my album cover.

Then I posted a trailer to my media page, with #hey kong

My artist’s engagement with his audience is strengthened through social media, particularly Instagram. Through this format the audience are able to follow my artist activities through regular posts of photos. The focus on visual rather than textual social media was important for my artist as it strengthens my brand as being something artistic and eye-catching. The social media page also allows fans to comment and ask questions, whilst also advertising the new album as being “OUT NOW”, with a link to purchase. The language is straight-forward and clear, mirroring the personality of my artist. Finally the use of the hashtag feature (#heykong) allows my artist’s album to be shared across various platforms.
